Well, Our trip did not start out so well. We had plans to leave at 8:30 and of course we did not make that mark. But ready to pull out of the driveway at about 10:50 but lo and behold.... a dead battery! We got a new battery and were off. Not quite to the freeway yet and Ernie's feeding bag( with lots of milk) busts all over the back of the van. We finally got this under control and on the road! The rest of the trip was pretty mellow...unless you count the baby's stroller coming loose on top of our van several times. Lol. We went to see family before attending the conference in Tulsa. We being my Mom, Myself, Brandy, Sydney, Ernie and Moni, went and met many cousins, aunts and uncles that us kids had not previously met. It was a neat time. My mom reminisced about her home town and took us to many places that held dear memory's. We went to the grave sites of alot of family members. We were fortunate enough to stay with family during this trip and we stayed with Rick and Gina. They were so kind. After visiting with family we went to Tulsa for the conference PEAK. It was alot of fun! I saw lots of friends, and got to hang out with 'em and pray with 'em! The drive home was not so much fun...I got so sick! Coming across California was completely miserable! I was only to glad to get home.

Camping for 4th of July

So, Thursday night after work Korena, Kirk, Karlee and I drove up to Redding. We picked up courtney and continued to Lake Siskiyou. Already there was Papa and Gramma Opdyke, Uncle Dan, Aunt Alana, Danielle and Tyler, Adam, Karissa, and Trevor, Aunt Kim, Kayla, and Kyle. At another camp site Alex, Cheryl, Cori, Pete, Aaron and anthony were camping. We had a really good time.
